SDSU Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department combines all aspects
of electricity, electronics, hardware, and software into one multi-disciplinary
unit. We offer degree programs in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and
Software Engineering ranging from the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) all the way
through the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. In addition, we have well
established, nationally and internationally known research programs in materials
science, nanotechnology, sensors, photovoltaics, and satellite image processing.
Our alumni are successful practitioners of these disciplines here in South
Dakota, from east coast to west coast, and internationally. We invite you to
take a closer look at who we are!
