In 1983 the Casio PF-15115-36 was the first PDA ever created. A quarter of a century later we can
hardly imagine life without PDAs such as the Blackberry and iPhone. Of course over the years the
functionality of these devices has greatly increased and opened the door for lots of little

According to the Winter 2006 Salary Report from the National Association of Colleges and Employers,
the average starting salary of undergraduate computer science graduates was $50K, and the average starting
salary of Master's degree computer science graduates was $68K. By spending an extra year in school, you

SDSU Program Design Competion 2008
Thirteen teams of high school students showcased their computer skills at this year's
competition. According to Dr. Lim, "You all did a wonderful job. I thought it might be too hard, but you proved me
wrong. Congratulations on a job well done."
